Control Low Strength Material (CLSM)
Flowable Fill or Controlled Low Strength Material (CLSM) is a material that is placed as high flowable materials (sometimes with self-leveling properties) and rapidly develops excellent load-bearing properties with no compaction. The strength of CLSM is usually low compared with concrete, and it ranges between 0.7 to 8 Mpa. Flowable fill (CLSM) is typically used for backfilling, retaining walls, void-filling applications such as tunnels, sewers, tanks, and to fix problems originating from poorly compacted soil or granular fill, which can cause stress on an underground pipe. Saudi Readymix offers a range of CLSM solutions such as Normal Weight CLSM, Lightweight CLSM (densities ranges between 400 to 1400 kg/m3), and Colored CLSM.
A wide range of conventional range mixes which customized to meet the project specifications that require concrete products specified based on their strength only. Our conventional concrete mixes may include the following special materials upon the request of the clients: Special Type of Cement: SRC, Type II, pozzolanic cement, High Alumina Cement and so. Dura-Crete is a high-quality product specially designed to provide ultra-durable concrete that would extend the lifespan and service life of a building or a villa. Dura-create can be used in all structural elements of the structure especially in all elements that are underground or at ground levels, such as foundations and ground slabs. Duracrete can also be used for columns and roof slabs. We expect an increase of service life between 25-70 years with the use of Duracrete, based on software simulations of concrete deterioration and laboratory research.
Heavy weight concrete is a type of concrete that uses heavy natural or manufactured aggregates to obtain a density higher than the conventional concrete. It can be used for radiation shielding (medical or nuclear) and offshore applications.
High Rise Concrete Solutions
High Rise Concrete is a type of concrete designed to be used in high rise buildings to provide an outstanding workability that ensures pumping the concrete into the required height, provide the degree of workability required at its final poring location and at the same time maintain the key properties of the poured concrete such as the strength and the durability requirements. The concrete pumping conducts using the best stationary pumps that ensure delivering the concrete to the required height while maintaining its required fresh and hardened properties. High Strength Concrete Solutions
High Strength Concrete is a range of high strength products which are typically used in the erection of high-rise structures. It has been used in components such as columns (especially on lower floors where the loads will be greatest), shear walls, and foundations. High strengths are also occasionally used in bridge applications as well. It has a compressive strength of 50 Mpa or greater. High strength concrete requires a careful selection of raw materials, specialized mix design, and a careful quality control procedure. High Early Strength Concrete is a type of concrete that has high strength at early age such as a few hours after the setting time or at the early days such as 1 to 3 days. It is typically used in the construction of walls, columns, and beams, flatwork applications where a fast track construction process is required, civil engineering projects where quick turnaround time is required.
Light Weight Concrete
Lightweight concrete is a range of concrete products which have lower densities compared with normal weight concrete. It can be classified into the following ranges of products: Structural Lightweight Concrete. Lightweight aggregate can be used for structural applications, with strengths ranges between 20 to 35 Mpa and densities ranges between 1700 to 2200 kg/m3. It is obtained using special lightweight aggregates. It provides several benefits such as reduction in dead loads making savings in foundations and reinforcement, improved thermal properties, improved fire resistance, and reduction in formwork and propping. Non-Structural Lightweight Concrete for thermal insulation purpose: It is a lightweight concrete designed to be used for improving the thermal insulation properties of the structural slab and roof systems. Its densities range between 400 to 1400 kg/m3 with strengths range between 1 to 15 Mpa. The thermal insulation can be four to six times better than the thermal insulation of the conventional concrete.
Roller-compacted concrete, or RCC, takes its name from the construction method used to build it. It’s placed with conventional or high-density asphalt paving equipment, then compacted with rollers. RCC has the strength and performance of conventional concrete with the economy and simplicity of asphalt. Coupled with long service life and minimal maintenance, RCC’s low initial cost adds up to economy and value. The need for a low-cost, high-volume material for industrial pavements led to its development. RCC may advantage such as the strength to withstand heavy and specialized loads; the durability to resist long term damage, and the versatility to take on a wide variety of paving applications. From container ports to parking lots, RCC is the right choice for tough duty. Pervious Concrete is a special type of concrete with a high porosity used for concrete flatwork applications that allows water from precipitation and other sources to pass directly through, thereby reducing the runoff from a site and allowing groundwater recharge. Pervious concrete is traditionally used in parking areas, areas with light traffic, residential streets, pedestrian walkways, and greenhouses. The use of Pervious Concrete pavements provides an environmental solution to storm-water runoff and puts rainwater back in the ground where it belongs!
A ready-mixed screed is a range of high-quality flooring screed concretes, it is a factory produced screed complying with the relevant international standards. It has several advantages compared with on-site mixed screed such as accurate mix proportions, consistent properties, and higher strength.
Self Compacting Solutions
Self-Compacting Concrete is a highly flowable concrete that spreads into the form without the need for mechanical vibration. It is a non-segregating concrete that is placed using its weight. It can flow into complex forms with congested steel, reduce the number of labors required and accelerates project schedules. Our range of self-compacting concrete includes two types of produces. V-Crete: is a type of self-compacting concrete that used for vertical structural elements such as columns and walls as well as any complex shape or fair-faced element. It produces superior surface finishes (fair-faced, smooth concrete surface free of honeycombs) with little or no compaction required; provide faster pouring of vertical elements in a single layer. H-Crete is a type of self-compacting concrete that used for horizontal structural elements such slabs and foundation; it provides fast placement without vibration or mechanical consolidation, minimizes voids on highly reinforced areas and produces a uniform surface.
Shotcrete & Grout Solutions
Shotcrete and Grout solutions Shotcrete is mortar, or high-performance concrete conveyed through a hose and pneumatically projected at high velocity onto a backing surface. It is the force of this spraying action that leads to compaction of the concrete or mortar which then forms layers of concrete to the required thickness. Shotcreting has proved to be the best method for the construction of curved surfaces. Tunnel linings and domes are now much easier to construct with the advent of shotcrete technology.
