Research and Development

In addition to its testing program, Saudi Readymix engages in a wide variety of research and development activities, including qualification and selection of raw materials, admixture analysis, new product development, and applications research.

The Saudi Readymix central laboratory in Dammam is constantly developing new-mix designs with enhanced properties using high-performance materials such as micro-silica, fly ash, ground granulated blast furnace slag, fibers, special chemical admixtures, and different blends of coarse and fine aggregates. These help Saudi Readymix provide innovative and efficient solutions to meet the increasingly demanding needs of the Kingdom’s construction sector.

Saudi Readymix is a corporate member of all Standards Organizations, and has contacts with leading national and international research institutions, relevant to the industry.

Education

In addition to providing technical advice and consultancy services to customers, Saudi Readymix is committed to raising the standards of professionalism in the industry. In support of this, the Company’s technical experts lecture at engineering courses for the local ACI (American Concrete Institute) chapter, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, and Saudi Aramco. Also on a regular basis, Saudi Readymix holds trade seminars and provides students with visits to its laboratories and project sites.
